The Onmyoji Arena April 2nd 2021 Update sees new shikigami Nekomata make her debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments

Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Onikiri and Hana.
Of these shikigami, Yoto Hime, Hone Onna, and Kisei have a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
New Shikigami Nekomata
“My tavern is my treasure”.
Nekomata commands 3 kitties. In battle, she can select either Chacha, Yuki Hime, or Kuronosuke to assist her, gaining different ability and attack effects to deal with different battle environments. At the same time, as the owner of a tavern, she can provide her teammates with additional items from her shop.
Trait: Sweet Brew
Passive effect: Nekomata will sell 3 types of wine in her shop at regular intervals. Teammates can spend 1 Coin to purchase 1 type of wine. They will gain the following effects for a certain period of time after use.
Sake: Gain a certain amount of Cooldown Reduction (can exceed Cooldown Limit).
Plum Wine: Gain extra Max HP bonus.
Distilled Wine: The next basic attack or ability at regular intervals deals additional magic damage.
Ability 1: Kitty Assist
Nekomata selects one of the following kitties to assist in battle and add additional effects to basic attacks.
Chacha: After every 3 basic attacks, the next 2 basic attacks will shoot out 3 additional Coins, which deal physical damage.
Yuki Hime: Deals splash damage to enemies nearby the target. At the same time, range will be slightly decreased, and extra Attack Speed will be converted to Attack Damage proportionally.
Kuronosuke: Gain extra Basic Attack HP Steal. At the same time, range will be slightly increased, and extra Attack Speed will be converted to range proportionally.
Ability 2: Scuffling Kitties
Nekomata throws a dried fish at the designated area, turning it into a free-for-all area for a certain period of time. The area’s effect can change any time according to the assisting kitty.
Chacha: Inflicts a Slow effect to enemies in the area.
Yuki Hime: Nekomata enters the Invisibility state when within the area.
Kuronosuke: Continuously attacks enemies within the area, dealing physical damage each time.
Ability 3: Come in Kitties
Cast the following abilities according to the current assisting kitty.
Chacha: Nekomata leaves behind Chacha at her original location and she gains a Haste effect. When she taps to use this ability again during this period, she will return to Chacha’s location.
Yuki Hime: Charges in the designated direction. At the same time, Yuki Hime will attack an enemy within range, dealing physical damage, and granting Nekomata a shield that can block damage.
Kuronosuke: Commands Kuronosuke to charge in the designated direction, dealing physical damage to the first enemy hit. If Kuronosuke passes through the free-for-all area, it can bring the area along with it. Upon contact with an enemy, Kuronosuke will stop and deal physical damage to enemies within the area.
Ultimate Ability: Nekogassen
Nekomata rides atop the enlarged kitty Kitsuno, charging over a long distance in the designated direction while ignoring obstacles, during which she gains a shield that can block damage. Kitsuno deals physical damage to enemies along the way and knocks them back slightly.
If Nekomata uses the ability again during this period, she can jump off early, while Kitsuno continues charging ahead for some distance.
This week sees Nekomata make her debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield. The Feline Innkeeper Selection Pack will also be available in the General Store. Kani Hime’s Ability 1 gains do not match the MP cost. NetEase Games will try adjusting her Ability 1’s damage and adding a Slow effect to strengthen Kani Hime’s ability to stay on targets.
Ability 1: Conch Hammer
New: Targets hit will be slowed by 30% for 1.5 seconds.
Damage adjusted from 100/165/230/295/360 (+120% Bonus Attack Damage) (+12%/13.5%/15%/16.5%/18% Bonus HP) to 100/125/150/175/200 (+120% Bonus Attack Damage) (+15%/16.5%/18%/19.5%/21% Bonus HP) (+15*current level).
Ability 3: Crab Pounce!
Adjusted damage from 100/150/200/250/300 (+60% Bonus Attack Damage) to 100/150/200/250/300 (+60 Bonus Attack Damage) (+6% Bonus HP).
Compared to Omoikane’s Bow and Juzumaru, the suppression of Heaven’s Thunder’s splash effect when laning is too powerful. NetEase Games have suitably adjusted its cooldown to control the frequency of triggering it during the laning phase. They will also remove Juzumaru’s reduction in damage against enemies with low HP, in hopes that this will improve the overall performance of shikigami who mainly rely on basic attack effects.
Adjusted cooldown from 6 seconds to 9 seconds, adjusted cooldown reduction from using basic attacks on enemy shikigami from 2 seconds to 3 seconds, and removed the cooldown reduction from attacking minions.
Juzumaru, Unholy Halberd
Removed: Deals half the damage to units with less than 35% HP.

Optimizations and Adjustments
Now, when Aobozu’s Ability 2: Divine Greatness triggers damage from the Buddha’s Heart mark, it will be displayed in the same form as crit prompts.
Added a mark that can only be seen by the one being attacked and Kidomaru when Kidomaru’s Ability 1: Killing Satisfaction produces a target to be attacked by the imps.
Fixed the issue in which the Spectate List did not push Challenger tier and higher. Also fixed the issue in which there was a mistake in the push sequence of the overseas Spectate List.
Now, you can also switch shikigami in the secondary screens in Lobby – Prepare (e.g. the Suggested screen).
Added team rank limitations for the Elite tier in Ranked Match: If the teammates’ tiers span over 3 large tiers when 3 people form a team, they will be unable to join team ranking.
