April 23th 2021 Update Patch Notes

The Onmyoji Arena April 23th 2021 Update sees NetEase Games has made some adjustments for Kani Hime, Enenra, Nekomata, and Dodomeki.

Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments

Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on April 26th, 2021. The new free shikigami will be Youko, Hako Shoujo, Vampira, Kyuumei Neko, Shiro Mujou, Tanuki, Kosodenote, and Shiro.

Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Kidomaru and Hiyoribou.

Of these shikigami, Kosodenote and Shiro have a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.

Shikigami Adjustments

Kani Hime

The increase in strength after adding the Slow effect to Kani Hime’s Ability 1 was slightly higher than expected, hence we have suitably readjusted the damage dealt by her Ability 1 to control Kani Hime’s strength in the early and mid game.

Ability 1: Conch Hammer

Adjusted base damage from 100/125/150/175/200 to 70/90/110/130/150.

Enenra

We have changed the differentiation rules for the clone of Enenra’s trait to make it more difficult for the enemy to differentiate between them. At the same time, we have increased the stability of Enenra’s Ability 3 so that it will prioritize chasing targets that have been hit by Ability 1. Lastly, we have greatly increased the cast range of Enenra’s ultimate ability and decreased the damage dealt when not charged.

Trait: Ghostly Shield

Now, the summoned clone will be viewed as a unit that can be hit by single-target lock abilities (including basic attacks).

Ability 3: Shadow Maze

Now, Ability 3’s spirits will prioritize chasing targets that have been hit by Ability 1: Greedy Spirit.

Ultimate Ability: Irritable Spirit

Cast range increased to 2000 yards.

Adjusted damage from 260/380/500 (+60% Ability Power) to 160/240/320 (+40% Ability Power).

Adjusted maximum damage multiplier from 1.9 times to 3 times.

Nekomata

Currently, the harassing capability of Kuronosuke when assisting is clearly higher while Chacha’s performance when assisting is comparatively weaker. We have balanced the strength of these two types of assists to optimize the experience.

Ability 1: Kitty Assist

Adjustment to Chacha’s assist: After every 2 basic attacks, the next basic attack will shoot out 3 additional Coins. Also, immediately gain one enhanced basic attack each time Chacha is selected to assist.

Ability 2: Scuffling Kitties

Adjusted additional damage dealt by Kuronosuke charging through the Scuffling Kitties area from 5/40/75/110/145/180/215 (+50% Attack) to 0/25/50/75/100/125/150 (+45% Attack).

Optimized the performance of Kuronosuke charging through the Scuffling Kitties area to make it smoother.

Ultimate Ability: Nekogassen

Added a mini map indicator when dragging the ability joystick.

Dodomeki

In response to the issue in which Dodomeki’s builds heavily rely on stacking Attack Speed, we have adjusted some values to give her more freedom in selecting builds.

Trait: Ghost Eye

Removed:

Damage dealt by the Ghost Eyes increases with Attack Speed.

Dodomeki can’t launch critical strikes, and Crit Rate is converted to Spell Vampire.

New:

Every point of Dodomeki’s Ability Power will be converted to 0.15% Attack Speed.

When 5 Ghost Eyes are opened at the same time, Dodomeki gains 30% Attack Speed bonus.

The damage dealt by each Ghost Eye has been adjusted to 2 (+4*current level) (+20% extra Attack) (+8% Ability Power).

Ability 1: Flaming Eye

Adjusted damage along the way from 80/130/180/230/280 (+60% extra Attack) to 80/140/200/260/320 (+60% extra Attack) (+60% Ability Power).

Adjusted explosion damage from 40/65/90/115/165 (+30% extra Attack) to 30/40/50/60/70 (+20% extra Attack) (+20% Ability Power).

Ability 2: Gaze

Adjusted base damage from 50/75/100/125/150 (+40% extra Attack) to 50/75/100/125/150 (+40% extra Attack) (+40% Ability Power).

Adjusted damage over time from 10/15/20/25/30 (+10% extra Attack) to 10/15/20/25/30 (+10% extra Attack) (+10% Ability Power).

Ultimate Ability: Cursed Eye

Adjusted damage from 60/100/140 (+50% extra Attack) to 80/130/180 (+37.5% Ability Power).

Battlefield Data Adjustments

Minion Wave and Turret Stats Adjustments

As the previous adjustment to the minion waves did not meet our expectations, we have suitably brought forward the growth time of the minion waves.

Stats growth of minion waves have been brought forward from 14 minutes to 12 minutes.

Optimizations and Adjustments

Optimized the camera movement logic when aiming Tamamonomae’s Ultimate Ability: Falling Might to make it smoother.
